3 DIY Berry Face Masks

Ready to get a beautiful, supple and radiant skin? Fruit face masks are great for skin treatments as they’re natural, inexpensive and very effective. Even more, if we’re talking about berries! As a matter of fact, blackberries deliver even more antioxidants than any other fruit does.  Strawberries leach skin and improve skin tone. Acai Berry improves the skin’s ability to cure and repair itself from harmful free radicals, protects collagen, inflammation and increases skin moisture. That’s why I want to share with you three easy options in which you can incorporate these amazing berries into your beauty routine to get a gorgeous skin and also get an extra spark or jolt of energy:

Berry Yogurt Mask

To hydrate your skin.

Ingredients:
-Greek Plain Yogurt
-Berries
-Honey
-Lemon Juice

In a blender, combine 2 tablespoons plain yogurt and 2 tablespoons honey, and pulse until fully combined. Add 1/4 cup mixed berries, pureeing until smooth, then add 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Then, using your hands, apply the mixture to a clean, dry face. Let the mask sit 10 to 15 minutes. Lastly, rinse face thoroughly with warm water.

Anti-Aging Berry Face-Mask

To soothe and rejuvenate the skin, while smoothing fine lines.

Ingredients:
-Blueberries
-Olive Oil
-Lime Juice
-Turmeric

Mash a handful of blueberries with olive oil, lime juice, oats and a pinch of turmeric, until it forms a paste. Brush the mixture onto your skin and then relax for 20 minutes, before rinsing with cool water.

Detoxing Face Mask

To reduce puffiness, naturally exfoliate and perk up tired skin.

Ingredients:
-Strawberries
-Water
-Ice Cube Trays
-Cloths

First, blend strawberries with water to a pulp, pour the mixture into ice cube trays and then freeze. Then, cut a square of muslin cloth and place one your berry ice cubes in the center. Pull all four corners together, and tie them with an elastic band. As the strawberry cube begins to melt in the muslin, place one of the flat edges of your skin, and massage the whole of your face for 5 minutes using small circular movements. Last, leave the residue on your skin for a few minutes, then rinse off with cold water.
