Hi my loves! I’ve been sharing with you for some months now through my social media account my laser hair removal treatments with Body Details. Since then, I’ve received many questions about it, such as “does it really work?”, “how long does it takes to see the results?”, “does it hurt?” … I’ve done this treatment for a couple on months now and I’m extremely happy with the results! That’s why today, I want to share with you a little bit of my experience and respond some of your questions.
Is it really worth it?
Yes, yes, yes and yes a hundred times! Now I’ve decided to stop shaving and waxing my legs and underarms to look into a more permanent option, I think it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever taken regarding with beauty routines. Believe me, It is amazing to throw on a bathing suit, wear a tank top or change in a public area without having to worry about any hairy surprises.
Does it hurt?
I’ve found this procedure to be quite manageable in regards to pain. I’m not gonna lie by saying “it doesn’t hurt a thing” because, in fact, it does. But trust me, it doesn’t hurt as much as waxing. Plus, when you start seeing the results you will realize that any pain is worth it! When people ask me “how does it feel?” I can only describe it as a rubber band snapping followed by a cooling sensation.
How much does it cost?
This depends on a lot on where you decide to do your treatment and the areas you want to treat. In my case, I’m doing it at Body Details here in Miami and they have amazing prices and payment plans that can be adjusted to your budget. Plus, the first consultation is free! So keep in mind that prices will always vary and I recommend you that if you want to get an exact amount, go there for your first consultation and they will tell you how they can work with you!
Things to consider:
- You will need to shave the area you want to be lasered a day or two before your appointment.
- It is recommended to avoid tanning at least two weeks before and after the treatment.
- It takes between four to five sessions of laser hair removal in order to see phenomenal and more permanent results.
- Your appointment can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour depending on the area you’re having treated.
- Shaving is totally fine, but you cannot wax or pluck after your treatment.
I’m still in the middle of this journey and I can’t wait to give you some other updates about my experience. I just had my forth consultation and it is amazing how I began to see a real difference.
