Trend Alert! The Mismatched Shoes. Would you wear it?

Celebrities, fashion girls and style-forward people around the world are wearing mismatched shoes on purpose. Generally, the shoes are of the same design but with the color or a few details being swapped.

It’s a trend that started on the runway at Céline, as soon as the first pair of red and white booties made their way onto runways, people knew it would become a huge trend. It was also repeated by fashion houses like Moschino and Calvin Klein, the truth is that it was only a matter of time until everyone wanted to wear intentionally mismatched shoes.

There are two ways to go about wearing mismatched shoes in real life: you can choose to wear a left shoe in one color and a right shoe in an entirely different hue or simply a slight variation between shoes. Still unconvinced? Opt for similar tones, and mix and match from two different color pairs of the same shoe.

Selena Gomez wore a pair of chunky wooden heels by Jacquemus at the third annual InStyle Awards and then Emily Ratajkowski wore the same pair to the Vogue Party at Paris Fashion Week. Besides, Nicole Kidman wore mismatched shoes to the Emmys; one with a pink strap across her toes, the other adorned with crystals.Naomie Harris in a pair of asymmetrical crystal-strap Calvin Klein sandals at the Oscars and Sarah Jessica Parker at the 2016 Met Gala, wore a pair of blue pumps with mismatched pendants from her own line, SJP Collection

Maybe you think it is expensive but you’ll soon realize you’re actually getting at least three pairs of shoes for the price of two. Check out some of the ways some fashion girls wear mismatched shoes!
