There are too many strategies on acquiring Instagram followers focused on the numbers, but what about the quality of the content? When you’re a business, you’ve gotta be more strategic. Your feed is your business card and the face of your business. Behind every face, there is a personality and your Instagram theme is that personality.
Your goal isn’t to bring more viewers to an Instagram account. Your goal is to get more people to turn that blue follow button green. You have to convert your visitors into new followers.
Here are our tips to help you craft a beautiful and consistent Instagram feed that will get you more followers.
Natural light is your best friend
If you’re not using natural light, you’re missing out. It is so important to take your photos with natural light because you will have higher quality and more detailed photos. Photos taken with natural light will also look better when you apply filters. The best natural light to take photos is in the morning or at the end of the afternoon.
High-quality photos always win
It will make a difference to the number of likes that you will get. A blurry photo can be seen from miles away. A high-quality photo looks sharp and is inviting. It makes us want to DOUBLE TAP.
Pick one filter and stick with it
A theme is nothing without a filter. Using the same filter all the time is the easiest way to start a theme.
Look at your IG feed as a big picture
To create a consistent feed, you need to view your Instagram as a whole rather than lots of separate images. When you are posting an image, think about how it will look like next to your other photos. This means that all your photos should have a consistent element or theme to tie them together.
Use a theme
Using a theme will help you post cool things on Instagram. Not only something cool that will bring you likes and comments but something that will also help you stay close to your brand and give your audience a sense of what’s coming next. Your theme should be a style or ‘look’ that you love and would like to replicate in your images.
Your feed will never look the way you want if you’re not having fun. Love what you do!
I did these pictures a couple of days ago with Claudia Gomez (@claudiagomezph) and I think this is a perfect example of some good content that you can post here and then. I’m sure you will see this pictures spread out during the month 🙂
